Malinalism is now with Foodspotting!

Hi there!


Me: Dude, are you hungry?
Others: Yes, I am! But where to eat?
Me: I don't know, don't ask me. Hmm, what do you want to eat? Lidah tu terasa nak makan apa?
Others: Entah lah. Apa yang best kat sini? Ada apa je?
Me: If you nak makan Nasi Ayam, ada satu sedap kat Ampang. If nak makanan Melayu, ada kat Senghoti. If nak tomyam, sedap kat Dagang. So mana?
Others: Alaa, I tak tahu lah babe. Mana-mana je lah. I tak kisah. Janji dapat makan.
Me: I know, but you terasa nak makan apa? Kang I bawa tempat makan I nak, you tak suka pula.
Others: Mana-mana je. Seriously, I tak kisah. You kan food blogger. Hihi

Honestly guys, don't you think it is just so annoying when people said "Tak kisah lah. Mana-mana pun boleh." Ughhhh. Stress! And yes, I'm just a human being just like you guys, and I somehow unluckily got into this conversation and encounter with these kinds of people. Yes. They tend to ask me where to eat because they really thought that I'm the expert of food and restaurants since I own a food blog here in Malinalism but that doesn't mean I can read your mind and wonder what you're craving for!

So, for me, to solve this problem of "Tak tahu nak makan mana and tak kisah lah, mana-mana pun boleh", DOWNLOAD 'FOODSPOTTING' ON YOUR SMARTPHONE NOW!

As I was busy blogging, uploading photos and updating food-traveloque in Doha, and was browsing the restaurant's reviews and details on Google, found this Foodspotting website. Still busy browsing for the awesome food right before my eyes and I scrolled down til reach at the bottom of the page, "Download for iOS". I give it a shot. Finished downloading. And here I am, introducing this to you guys.

It is such an awesome apps. Know why? Because they can spot where you're currently at and they tell you what's good nearby with the photos as well! Bam, take that! With those photos, I think you can drool over those food that you're craving for and right away je cakap, "Okay! Decided! I nak makan ni!", then the driver terus bawa je you all to that place. Cool, right?

And other features, they tell you what's specials, best and nearby food around you. You can browse it all. But make sure that you are connected to the internet, they need to know where on Earth are you! Once you reached the restaurant, already ordered the food that you were drooling over in the car, click the 'Spot' button, you can upload your own photo (of that food, of course), choose the restaurant's name, and voila, tagged!

But if you still lost or really really don't know what to eat or where to eat, you can click the 'Guides' button and there are endless lists of food and restaurants. You can choose either 'Featured' or 'Activity' to stalk what your friends been eating all this while or you can even browse yourself. If that still doesn't help, I think you should just stay at home and cook your own meal. That's just the best way. LOL! :D

Food teaser to make your tummy suffer


I made this picture clickable. Its easy for you to drool over whichever food that you like here. LOL! These are some of the food (I repeat, SOME) that I had during my spring break in Doha. I said 'some', mainly it is because kadang-kadang I terliur habis bila makanan sampai and I terus lupa nak ambil gambar to buat review. Bila dah kenyang, burp semua, ikan sampai tinggal tulang, baru teringat "Oh man, lupa nak ambil gambar." And maybe some of them just benda-benda remeh yang I pernah makan kat Malaysia or some of them bila I tengah lapar sangat sampai dah tak ingat apa. I'm just a human being, you know. I makan untuk perut, sampai lupa untuk blog. LOL! So yeah, I am the evil knievel to make your tummy suffer bila tengok ini semua. Hahak! Will give out the details of all of these food. I will try to finish it all and sum it all up before my semester starts! Gaaaahhhh!

I'm baackkkk! Hello warga KL!

Hi! While waiting for thousands of pictures from iPhone to be transferred into this very own netbook (rindu rindu!), decided to blog or merepek sekejap. I just got back from Doha (bunyi macam kat belakang rumah je). Alhamdulillah, safely landed in Malaysia yesterday at 3pm. Reached home around 5 pm, I think? Biasa lah, orang bujang, nobody jemput at the airport (well, I never mentioned anyone when is the date I'll be touchdown. Lewlz!), so took the airport limo. At first sampai KL, mashaallah, panas berdengkang! Might be I dah get used to weather in Doha, but yeah, panas. Tak pernah - tak pernah lah ketibas dengan hanya duduk dalam kereta. (*I bet you all know apa ketibas? Malu lah nak cakap. Hehek.)

But I won't post em all lah. Interesting pictures for scrumptious food I had that can make you drool (JE!) and I bet some of you, dear food lovers gonna book a flight ticket malam ni juga untuk ke Doha (okay, extremist disitu). Or maybe saja nak merasa dengan cari resipi di internet and buat sendiri. Na-ah, won't be the same! Air tangan mereka disana ada kuasa sakti yang buat makanan tu jadi lagi sedap. Hmm, jangan terbayang benda lain! Heppp!

Well, yes I'm back. And I have an announcement to make. 2 announcements actually. First, I am so sorry to inform you that I need to slow down with blogging since next semester is the crucial phase of my life. Wahhh, gitu dik non. Tade lah se-crucial mana, is just that I need to focus on my studies more because I need to do FYP. Kalau adik-adik yang belum masuk university, FYP means Final Year Project. Projek Akhir Tahun. So, kakak disini perlu focus and banyak datelines kena kejar and some more it is my final year of degree in IT, which, sounds so bad as it is kalau tak focus. My dad insists on me not to keluar merayau sangat. If nak makan pun, tak payah pergi fancy restaurants. Makan kedai mamak je. So got nothing to update lah kat blog if I makan kat kedai mamak since semua orang tahu ada apa kat mamak! Kan kan? And FYI, I makan je kat kedai mamak. Selalunya for brunch with my girls. Kalau lunch, either mamak or ada this one restaurant Kelantan in Cyberjaya, OHH, SEDAP BOH! The name is "De' Sedap Senghoti" if I'm not mistaken? I'm not good in Kelantanese dialect/slang/accent, so I think that's the name. Lauk dia, terbaik! But if I were you, go easy on the masak lemak and kangkung belacan and the sambal belacan. GO EASY means, ambil sedikit sahaja sebab pedas dia, mashaallah, den yang oghang nogoghi ni pun tak tahan nak tolan! (Yes, negeri babe is in the house! Woot!) LMAO!

Apa lagi yang nak bebel eh? Oh, lupa sambung apa announcement kedua! Bet you all pun lupa I tengah cakap pasal announcement tu. See, from that point boleh pergi ke tempat lain. My friends dah biasa with this attitude of mine. Ada jeee benda nak celoteh. Sorry. Hihi. Second announcement, hi saya gemok. (Random sangat tu Malina, random!) Dah terbukti gemok sebab ternampak ada lemak di tempat yang tak sepatutnya. SERIOUSLY! Baru semalam terperasan. Mana nak sorok perut ni? Sobs.

Oh yes, on a related note, my youngest aunt on my mom's side is getting married tomorrow and decided to wear peplum kurung. I assume korang tahu lah apa peplum eh? Okay la, since guys pun baca ni, I'll explain. Go and Google it up. LOL! Kidding! Peplum ni baju yang ketat sedikit di pinggang and the rest of the cloth bawah paras pinggang tu, kembang sikit or flowy. Macam skirt. Get it, get it? So I buat baju peplum kurung, gonna wear it with kain mermaid/duyung. 

So I pergi tailor, nak tempah baju. Fish-tail peplum, to be exact. Masa ukur, bukan main lagi badan macam Miranda Kerr. Konon-konon kurus since my weight masa ukur tu, 40 kg. So a bit skinnier than today. Pfft. That was when I belum pergi Doha lagi. Bila dah balik from Doha, berat sudah 48 kg, pinggang apa segala dah melebar. Semalam sampai KL, terus try that baju for the first time. MashaAllah, dah macam balut nangka. Gemok teramat. Kain sempit, pinggang cerut sampai tak boleh bernafas. So yeah. We'll see how, the wedding is tomorrow at noon. Sempat tak nak dapat six pack in a day? Mannn, I need corset, PRONTO! D:

Okay, transferred all. Mohon mengundur diri. Segala kekasaran kata, ampun paaaaak! Hihi.

Saya sibuk makan


Bak kata orang-orang tua, "Mulut penuh, jangan bercakap."

Saya sibuk makan, so tak boleh bercakap. Or in this context, tak boleh nak update this blog about food sebab busy makan and merayau cari makan lagi. LOL! Wanted to update about food around Doha but I went to too many places and restaurants and I ate too many new food! Will upload those pictures and update posts as soon as I can! Maybe later when I am back in Malaysia. TOO MANY, I tell you. And this picture was taken at Wagamama Restaurant, Lagoona Mall, West Bay Doha. Definitely will update it here later. Too many and I am still rearranging the photos and words. Lewlz! Maybe I could post some teasers first? We'll see :)

From 39 kg to 48 kg.

Yup, that is my previous and current weight. I was only 39 kilos and the heaviest I can get was 42 kg. And my mission is to gain up until 50 kilos, which it was impossible achieve with my unhealthy lifestyle back in Kuala Lumpur. I am currently in Doha and Alhamdulillah, Allah showers me with loads of good and healthy food. Arabic food is just, DA BOMB! I eat almost everything here since it is all halal. Yup, no non-halal food in Doha and that is just what I love about this country! You can eat anything with your eyes closed. LOL! Now, I want to tell or share with you about my so called "achievement" (hahaks!) of gaining so much weight, easily. It is all about, sumbat and telan and hope that you are not going to throw up. Hahah! No, all you need is, eat healthy food and stick to the right diet and BE DISCIPLINE! No malas malas (Y)


So, what do I eat?
(Hopefully I can continue this kind of lifestyle once I am back in KL. Phew!)


0600 : Drink 2 glasses of plain water (after perform Subuh). Room temperature!
0900 : A bowl of Nestle Fitness Honey & Almonds cereal + milk
0915 : Fruit (Usually, I eat banana for breakfast)
1000 : Gym time! Work your ass out! Only for an hour. I usually selang-seli kan hari with cardio and fitness. If too lazy to go to the gym, then you can only pasang lagu kuat-kuat and DANCE! :) If you don't have equipment yang ada kat gym tu, you can rearrange furniture in your house. Do something like lifting or pushing or pulling heavy things for fitness.
1100 : Drink loads of plain water! I always carry around my 600 ml tumbler with me. So make sure habiskan the whole bottle before lunch time.
1130 : Eat more fruits. Usually I will have strawberries and chocolate yoghurt.
1145 : 2 chocolate bars. Kit Kat Chunky Mini (Preferably, dark chocolate)
1500 : Lunch time! Nasi is a MUST! Usually masak kat rumah. Lauk mesti balanced diet. Mesti ada ayam/daging/ikan/udang/sotong (either one) and then veggies is also a must. I cannot eat nasi without veggies. Broccoli, terung, spinach, carrot adalah kemestian.
1600 : After perut dah tak bloated sebab telan nasi banyak banyak, drink a glass of juice. Mixed berries juice or apple juice always ada in the refrigerator.
1900 : More chocolate bars!
2100 : Makan nasi! Or anything you have left. Just eat leftovers tengahari tadi. If dah habis, keluar beli kebab or shawarma or make your own sandwich at home. Usually, if malas sangat, I will eat roti, cheese, fried egg with pepper. Makan cenggitu pun sodap boh!
2200 : My routine before tidur, I must take one chocolate bar, eat strawberries or grapes, and drink LABAN. Tahu tak laban tu apa? It is actually a yoghurt drink but this is 100% milk. If tak biasa, you might hate the taste. But lama-lama, jadi sedap! Everyday I mesti minum before tidur (Y)
0000 : And don't forget, a bottle of plain water. Then sleep :)


I am now 48 kg and my target is 50 kg by June. 2 kilos to go. No pain, no gain. But in my case, no pain at all and I gained! LOL! Lame -.-" Wish me luck, guys! Ngee :B
