Malina, you can't bake.
Its been awhile since the last I wrote something here. And somehow I feel like writing (or, typing something out of my mind) tonight. It is Feb 27th and big birthday to my beloved Mommy. I am so lucky to have her as my mom, she is my world, my everything. Thank you Mommy for everything. Nak jadikan cerita, Sissy and I baked a chocolate cake for Mommy. Well, hmm, I admit that I actually don't have any idea or any knowledge in baking. I have only baked, cupcakes, but it was a longgggg time ago. Sudah lupa already. And I can bake pies, but not cakes (sadly, yes). I admit, I can cook but I seriously cannot bake. Like, seriously! Sissy knew how to bake and stuff so credit to her who taught me to bake that cake for Mommy's 48th birthday, yesterday. She said, "Kakak, you need eggs, oil and water..." and bla bla bla. The only thing I did was listening to her and preparing whatever stuff to bake a chocolate cake. Everything was awesome until we opened the oven and hmm... I didn't like what I see. The cake somehow, terjongket? I don't know how on Earth boleh jadi like that. Nak kata tak rata, semuanya rata. So yeah. Like it or not, we cannot just throw it, so we decided to just do the topping part. Ahha! Another funny story. Since we both are broke-ass gals, we used whatever the refrigerator has. We used, Milo powder, marshmallows and Skittles. I know. Disgusting right? Hahah! We don't have that much of money to go and buy chocolate rice or chocolate syrup or icing or whatever for the cliche toppings. Tak nak membazir punya pasal and just want to do something for Mommy, there. Chocolate cake with Milo, marshmallows and rainbow-coloured Skittles. We arranged the Skittles on top of the cake, written huge "48". Lewlz. Low budget cake but full with love! How about that huh? Be jealous, be jealous. LOL!
Eggs
Chocolate powder/flour? I don't know what's inside.
EVOO and water (Oh come on guys, you should know EVOO by now)
Then, stir!
Stir some more! (Oh, what a machine hand I have there! LOL!)
Stir...
And stir until everything mixed up.
And pour into your, pan? Or whatever they call it. Put it in the oven for 15 mins.
Best part.
Best part. Part 2.
Best part. Part 3. Lick everything off!
There. After 15 mins. Cake terjongket! Not proud, not proud -.-"
Skittles. And I don't want to show you the outcome. Let's brush up your imagination skill! Think think! LOL!
Miss Malina Azman, poor her. Doesn't know how to bake. Lewlz!

"I'm engagedddddd!" - Ika
With the happy girl, Ika :)
Congratulations, pretty!
Went to Dengkil, 3 cars convoyed from Cyberjaya. Was with Juey, Aarief, Mija, Izham, Liyl, Adri, Qis and Fahmy. Everyone went with their partner, okay!? LOL! Gerak to Ika's in Dengkil, we were an hour late. Yes, were behind the schedule. Supposedly ETA, around 12 noon. But we were late, so tak sempat nak tengok majlis sarung cincin. Sampai je, Ika muka happy dari jauh jerit, "Koraaaaanggggg!" while everyone non stop cakap sorry. She kept on saying "Takpe takpe, its okay. At least korang datang juga." Cute je minah sorang ni. Makan then sesi bergambar. Too many pictures and I want to see it pronto! The theme was pastel colours so that was the reason why everyone pakai baju macam lebih kurang je colour. Hee. Well, congratulations to Ika and Aniq (siap hashtag kat Twitter #AniqIkaEngagement. Lewlz!) and we seriously can't wait for your wedding pula! Jangan lupa ajak. Surely datang, in Shaa Allah :)

My cousin, Ila and I attended the wedding of my friend, Zee in Section 9 Shah Alam, last Saturday. They served Nasi Arab and I really thought that it was awesome since that was my first time ever attended a wedding yang served Nasi Arab. Selalunya, nasi minyak and other lauk normal kat kenduri kahwin. Maybe nak mengelakkan the cliche-ness, so Zee's wedding ni, honestly it was very nice. Soooo many people yang keluar masuk the hall (Zam-Zam Restaurant/Hall). At first, I was hanging out with bunch of MMU people. Met Noi, Bulu and L. Seriously I haven't seen them in awhile since they left MMU during our 2nd year. Catch-up for a little while, then on my way nak keluar hall, bumped into a group of my Unisel babies. It's been ages since the last time I saw them! So, makan and hung out for the second time. Lewlz. It was so great seeing them again. All grown up :) To Zee and Syafiq, your wedding is so nice! Loving every bit of it and totally love the food! LOL! To Zee, finally you kahwin! Tahniah. Semoga menjadi seorang isteri yang solehah and same goes to Syafiq. We all had fun at your wedding! Whee! Semoga berkekalan sehingga ke Jannah, in Shaa Allah. Amin :) And thanks Ila for being the "awesome" tour guide. Zzz.

Hello there! If you keep yourself updated with this blog, I'm pretty sure that you all know about the lists I've made few weeks back regarding the "MPMCMM". Remember? Or if you don't have any idea what I'm talking about here, just click this link for further details. There - MCMPMM. Alright, I give you 5 minutes to read it through.
Done?
Okay, so now. Back to our business. As you all can see, I've already crossed out 'Grafa Cafe' in the list since I have already tried it! I went there, last week with bunch of friends for dinner (for the first time) and went for lunch a week after (the second time). First impression, I was, "Okay, this place is cool, wey!" Because they have lomo stuff right at the corner at the entrance and the gallery outside (before you can even reach the entrance door) and the black feature wall with green diamonds (I think? Diamonds right? Lewlz!) with the orange couch placed near the cashier. So I thought that was the only cool part until I sat down after passing by everyone and pening "Where to sit?!". My friend and I were sitting indoor, and I was facing the wall, huge blackboard to be exact full with menu served from the kitchen and it was written with white chalk. How cool is that?! Not cool enough? Let me tell you more.
Let's start with the drinks. As you all know (Or maybe you don't), I'm always a big fan of Iced Peach Tea. So, that was the time I should try the famous Peach Tea that everyone has been talked about. I, simply, love, it. The tea was perfect and freshly sliced peach was cozily dunked in the tea. Not so icy, just perfect. I LOVE IT! And I ordered, Iced Honey Lemon with extra honey and less ice please. The waiter just smiled and off he went to the drink counter. He didn't jot it down or anything, just cool enough to memorize and bring back the drink exactly how I wanted it to be. Extra honey, less ice. Perfect.
And so I've tried, Nasi Goreng Ketam. It was a bit spicy. For those who can't stand the hotness of green chilies, it's better for you to have plain water with you on the table. LOL! The soft-shell crab is well-cooked, you can eat everything from the leg to its, shell? You can eat it, don't worry. Then there's Mammamia Sandwich. You would probably say, "Mamma miaaa!" out loud when you taste the juiciness of the bacon (turkey ham) and the crunchiness of the tomatoes and cucumbers, all mingled together in the crusty bread along with mayonnaise and 2 sauces on the plate. And not to mention, the non-oily french fries. Healthy food all the way huh! Carbonara Bacon Turkey Ham Spaghetti was nice. My friend had that and I only sibuk to taste it. Love the sauce! Milky, creamy and tasty! I don't know how to describe it, it's just, delicious! And then, there's Chicken Chop. The chicken is well-cooked, crispy and no oil detected. Yay! The mash potatoes is the bomb! Baaammm! Huge portion and it would be lovelier if we can have more of it!
The service is tremendously good. The waiters are efficient enough not to write the menus down and they can memorize it and they bring the food to your table according to your orders. I think that was pretty cool. Just like kedai mamak :) But I think it would be better for the waiters to be more alert. Customers can call out for you anytime.
The price is okay. The cashier gave me the receipt and its written there, "Eat Like a Boss, Pay Like a Hobo". Heck yes! The portion is superbly huge and you pay like, just a quarter of it.
My friends and I were enjoying our time at Grafa. We really love the ambiance, the friendliness of everyone in the restaurant, the decor, the food and the awesome fact that Grafa Cafe can make us lost in time. We didn't realize we were having lunch for 3 hours! Grafa is a very nice place to hang out with friends, just to catch up and update each other and you can also host a birthday party there! If you want to :)
